We’ve seen her as a blonde bombshell for Duran Lantink. And now, we’re getting Consani as we’ve never seen her before: a Victorian goth, courtesy of McQueen. The brand just became the latest fashion house to unveil its AW25 campaign, this one photographed and directed by Glen Luchford, starring Consani alongside Athiec Geng, Chu Wong and Libby Taverner. Whilst based around ideas of freedom and subversion, the campaign retains McQueen’s dark mystique, borrowing from the Victorian Gothic. “The collection was rooted in the uncompromising self-expression of independent thinkers, exploring the tension between tradition and transgression,” explains creative director, Seán McGirr. “Their spirit of progressivism feels pertinent now, inherent in modern questions of character, identity, idealism and gender.” Over the past few weeks, each of the major luxury brands has revealed its AW25 campaign offering, mentally preparing us for the end of summer (and the fast-approaching fashion month, too). Other campaigns have included Kate Moss and Chloë Sevigny cradling one another on a beach for Saint Laurent. A topless Aaron Taylor-Johnson, also for Saint Laurent. Former Dazed cover star Kylie Jenner for Miu Miu, Kaia Gerber for Givenchy, meanwhile, Balenciaga even swapped Nicole Kidman’s seedy Babygirl suite for a palatial hotel.
